During the Spring Semester of 2025, I participated in Pete Huster's class on Creativity and Concept Development.
In which, I was assigned to create various 1:1 designs in Photoshop that challenged me to design creatively and explore methods of creation that I hadn't previously. Below is a series of some of my assignments from that period.
The experience I gained in this class can be expressed as such:
Professional training with an emphasis on marketing’s role in ensuring the most effective and impactful design solutions. Training topics included: marketing objectives, target audience demographics, creative briefs, and a rationale for how a key graphic message must impact, appeal and motivate a specific audience to know, care or act as intended. Explored many advanced methods of securing captivation through a targeted, creative design that draws on a viewer’s emotions and incites the ideal response. Practiced Photoshop skills that enhance graphic presence, as well as concept sketching that clearly represents intentional designs.
